Vocation Office Staff

Fr. Johnson - Vocation Director

Fr. Johnson grew up in the Kansas City area attending St. Therese parish in Parkville.  During his junior year at the University of Missouri, he felt that God might be calling him to the priesthood and he entered the seminary.

He studied at Conception while finishing his college degree and then was sent by Bishop Finn for theology studies at the Pontifical North American College in Rome.  He was ordained a priest in 2012 and has served as the associate pastor of St. John LaLande parish in Blue Springs and then as pastor of St. Matthew Apostle parish in Kansas City before becoming the Director of Young Adult & Campus Ministry for the diocese while also serving as administrator for Sacred Heart parish in Hamilton and Mary Immaculate parish in Gallatin.  Fr. Johnson has served as the Diocesan Vocation Director since July of 2016 and has enjoyed working with the seminarians.

If you are considering the priesthood, Fr. Johnson would love to hear from you.

Hope Bojanski - Office Manager

Hope Bojanski came to the Vocation Office in the summer of 2017 after working for two years as a liturgist in a Kansas Parish. She has a degree in theology from Creighton University, but believes that growing up with 5 siblings is her most impressive qualification. When she's not tending to the Vocation Office, Hope enjoys teaching dance, enjoying Chipotle with her husband, Jacob, and snuggling with their cat, Toby.
